The benefactors of Nowy Korczyn were, among others, the extraordinary princely couple - Bolesław the Chaste and his wife, Kinga. It was from their foundation in Nowy Korczyn that the monastery church of st. Stanislaus.
Bolesław the Chaste and Kinga, probably captivated by the idea of a new religious formation on the map of Europe, issued the foundation act of the church and monastery in 1257, i.e. only a few dozen years after the official approval of the Franciscan order by the pope. Today, the thirteenth-century chancel, closed with a straight wall, completes the nave, which is the result of the fourteenth-century expansion. The western façade is adorned with a baroque gable from the 19th century.
Adjacent to the church is a part of the former eastern wing of the monastery, which today serves as the rectory.
The modest shape contrasts with the richly decorated interior of the temple. The rich baroque decoration dazzles anyone who enters the temple.
