A village situated in the Świętokrzyskie Mountains between the Radostowa and Dąbrówka mountains, in the place where the Lubrzanka River forms the most beautiful and geologically interesting gorge.
The name of the village comes from the name of Mrs. Amelia, the wife of Hilary Wieszwski, who built a guesthouse on the slope of Dąbrówka in 1901. Currently, there are hotels "Ameliówka" and "Przedwiośnie" here, as well as the hostel "Lubrzanka".
