In a place where former brewing masters created golden liquor, today art is created at the highest level. Proving the rich industrial tradition of Ostrowiec, brick walls create a space for creating and absorbing art and culture.

The brewery was built here in 1908. In the interwar period, about 50 thousand. hectoliters of various drinks, mainly light and dark beers. During World War II, production for the Germans was continued.

It tragically entered the history of the brewery on September 30, 1942, when the Nazis executed Stanisław Saski on the market square. After World War II, the plant was nationalized, and in the 1970s the brewery in Ostrowiec was closed down. From that moment on, the degradation of the building began. One of the eight buildings housed the "Kazaczok" club for the Soviet builders of Huta Ostrowiec. The building has been used for cultural purposes since the 1980s.

Today it is safe to say that the brewery building has not only regained its former splendor, but has received a second, more cultural soul. Before 3 institutions moved here permanently - the Municipal Cultural Center, the Municipal Public Library and the Art Exhibition Office, for over 2 years, almost every part of the brewery, brick by brick, was restored to its heyday. Today, the effect of this titanic work can be admired especially in the evening, when the professional designed lighting of the building brings out its unique atmosphere. If you have a minute, check what will happen at the brewery as you explore the city. And if you happen to hit the "cucumber" season, sit down with a coffee and a cake in an atmospheric cafe.
