Arians residence – Polish Brethren in Pińczów

Pińczów, founded by a cardinal Zbigniew Oleśnicki, is a picturesque town located at the heart of Ponidzie. It is called the seat of the Arians, the Polish Brethren.

It is worth seeing the House on Mirów, called the "drukarnia ariańska" ("Arian printing house"), built of local stone blocks as well as an early Baroque church and a Reformati's monastery from the 17th century as well as a regional museum documenting the tradition, history, and culture of Ponidzie.

Another noteworthyn buildings are the  Renaissance Old Synagogue from the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries, the only well-preserved building testifying to the presence of Jews in the town, the palace of the  Wielopolski family, and the Renaissance St. Anne's Chapel towering over Pińczów and its surroundings, built in Mannerist style in 1600 according to the design of Santi Gucci. From St. Anne's Hill, you can admire a magnificent view of the Nida Valley and the surrounding area.
