It is safe to say that scandal is the middle name of any serious futurist. Bruno Jasieński was a representative of this trend in art.

This character is still controversial today, and there are still many question marks in his biography. What is certain is that the writer was born in Klimontów as Wiktor Zysman, son of Jakub Zysman, a physician and social activist from Klimontów.

In circumstances unexplained to this day, as a young boy, he was adopted by the Jasieński family. Not only his surname was changed, but also his first name. Little Bruno Jasieński, however, remained with his biological parents. Even in his childhood, the writer left Klimontów - he went with his siblings to Warsaw, and then, with his whole family, to Moscow. Klimontów appeared only occasionally in the biography of the futyrist.

Jasieński appeared here during breaks from studying, he also founded an amateur theater here. The impressive tenement house where the Zysman family lived is located near the Klimontów collegiate church. Currently, it houses a bank and the seat of the commune office. Its past is evidenced by a memorial plaque devoted to Dr. Jakub Zysman, a physician and social activist involved in the life of Klimontów.
