The Chapel of St. Roch near Wąchock

The chapel was built in 1838. from the foundation of the burgher from Wąchocki, Józef Obarski, from his own resources and the local stone.

This is confirmed by a plaque on the chapel. Inside, there are late-baroque furnishings. Every year, at the field altar built in front of the chapel, a mass is celebrated once a year (Sunday after August 16). It is one of the largest church fairs in the region, which annually gathers crowds of participants from Wąchock and the surrounding area.
