Even from afar, hikers are greeted by a characteristic monument with the image of a bronze eagle standing on a 10-meter high column.

It bears the inscription "To the glory of Józef Piłsudski's first battles for the independence of Poland". Along the eastern wall of the cemetery you will find tombstones with cross badges characteristic of the 1st Brigade of the Polish Legions. However, not only legionnaires are buried in this cemetery. You will also find a mass grave of soldiers killed in the first month of World War II. This place is commemorated by a limestone monument - the image of two soldiers on both sides of the barricade. Józef Lenczewski, a second lieutenant of the Home Army, who died on August 15, 1944, is buried in the last grave.
