The most valuable protected element in this reserve is the forest, and more precisely - the tree stand that forms it.
The oldest specimens are larches - Polish and European.
Some of the trees are almost 200 years old. You will also find 100-year-old beeches here, as well as slightly younger hornbeams and oaks. Piotrowe Pole is a special part of a larger forest complex of Iłżeckie forests.
