The former limestone opencast mine in Zagaje Kikowskie is now one of the natural monuments in the Szaniecki Landscape Park.

Limestone rocks have undergone karst processes here. Soft limestone has been subjected to the destructive forces of water over the years. Here it is clearly visible that the saying "a drop bites the rock" has its confirmation in nature. Several caves have been inventoried in the exposure visible here.

The entrances to some of them have collapsed, so be sure to visit this place with caution and caution.
