The monument commemorates the January Uprising insurgents (1863)

In a small clearing there is a grave of the insurgents who had their camp here and were surrounded by the Russians.

On the insurgent grave there is a tombstone made of stone slabs with the inscription "In memory of those who died in 1863", on the side there is information that it was founded in 1918 by Wanda and Władysław Jankowski, the owners of Maleniec and Ruda Maleniecka.
