You will find the church in small Obiechów on the square at the intersection of two main roads in the village. Although the heart of the entire sacral complex is a wooden temple, your attention will certainly be drawn to brick elements.
The present church dates from the second half of the 18th century. It was built on the order of Katarzyna Mieroszewska. The work was completed by her son, Józef, who surrounded the church with a wall with stations of the cross. On the eastern side, however, he ordered the so-called Mausoleum to be erected. It is a brick temple whose body and four-column decoration resemble an ancient temple.
Coming back to the church itself - it consists of a nave and a wooden presbytery. Adjacent to it is a chapel and a brick sacristy, which slightly disturbs the harmony of the entire building.
The function of the porch is fulfilled here by the bell tower adjacent to the church, which is crowned with a decorative, octagonal cupola.
If you have a moment - take a look inside. You will find here, among others, organs from the end of the 17th century, and therefore much older than the temple in Obachów. Also pay attention to the altars, where you will surely recognize the images of the Virgin Mary and Saint Anthony.
