The remnants of the gypsum mining site in Gacki are 2 charming water reservoirs that attract caravanning enthusiasts from all over Poland during the tourist season.
The larger reservoir, called the "Horseshoe" due to its shape, has an area of about 20 hectares. On its southern shore you will find a place to relax with comfortable cottages and a campsite. You can also relax here on the private beach.
Podkowa is also an ideal place for anglers - you can count on meeting carp, grass carp, tench, bream or pike, perch and even eel here.
The smaller reservoir is the place where pumps were located to remove excess water from the former excavation. Therefore, its name - "Pump" is not surprising. The area of about 5 hectares is also a very good place for fishing.
Also here you can find a place to relax by the water. For many years, a campsite has been operating here, where peace and quiet are valued - no wonder that it is most often used by families with small children and seniors.
