Marian Melchior Antoni Langiewicz (born August 5, 1827 in Krotoszyn, died May 10, 1887 in Constantinople) - general and dictator of the January Uprising of 1863.
Located at ul. Langiewicza, the 19th-century white manor house with columns in 1863, during the January Uprising, was the headquarters of Marian Langiewicz - the military chief of Sandomierz, one of the most distinguished for the voivodeship of justification for the insurgents. The insurgent headquarters was located here and from this place Langiewicz sent appeals to mayors and village heads from the entire voivodeship, in which he informed about the formation of the Polish National Government.
