Built at the end of the 18th century by the Potocki family, it initially did not resemble a palace. Located in a historically interesting place. In the town of Połaniec, not far from Sichów, on May 7, 1794, Tadeusz Kościuszko himself proclaimed the Universal Połaniecki. His unit was getting ready for the advancing troops of Catherine II. For years, Dom Sichowski was owned by the Radziwiłł family. At the end of the 19th century, the Potocki family (founders of the palace), exactly Róża Potocka, who married Fr. Maciej Radziwiłł. Through the years of turbulent history of Poland, inhabited for generations by the same family.

In 1939, on September 6, German aggression against Poland reached Sichów. Introducing terror. A year later, the Nazis return and arrest Krzystof and Zofia Radziwiłł, who were residents of the Sichowski house at that time. After the Second World War, only Krzystof will survive from the Radziwiłł family, who miraculously survives the murderous stay in the concentration camp. in the times of the Polish People's Republic, the house was taken over by the state and served as an agricultural school. When it ended its activities, the building fell into ruin. Thanks to the actions of Stefan Dunin-Wąsowicz, the son of Maria née Radziwiłł, it was partially rebuilt in 2010 and is available to visitors.
