Miedzianka Mountain attracts photography enthusiasts - it is the only peak of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, from which there is such a picturesque, panoramic view of the surrounding ranges.

However, this place offers much more than just a viewpoint on a rocky ridge. Here you can learn about the extraordinary history of former miners, i.e. people who, since the Middle Ages, have drawn from nature what is most valuable: ores, i.e. precious minerals.

Miedzianka is one of the places where you can learn about the traces of the activity of former miners - shafts, heaps, depressions and adits.

In the Museum Room of Ore Mining you will see how hard the ore work was. In the reconstructed adit, you will meet a bent figure who, in the semi-darkness, was laboriously obtaining ore using simple tools.

You will also follow changes in mining tools and mining techniques. You will learn about the customs of the miners' brothers, you will also see miners' uniforms and contemporary commemorative St. Barbara's Day mugs.

There are also spectacular specimens of minerals in the room. Malachite and azurite are in the lead here. The minerals from Miedzianka and the vicinity of Chęciny impress with their size and color, in no way inferior to specimens from other parts of the world.
