Live Museum of Porcelain in Ćmielów

In every journey, the most valuable are impressions, heard stories and new skills. That is why it is worth visiting these places where you can not only see, but also discover and engage in the story that a given place will tell you.

In this unique museum you will see with your own eyes how the famous Ćmielów porcelain is made - from the idea and design to the famous, intricate hand decoration of figurines, tableware or cups.

Under the guidance of a guide, you will embark on a journey through the exciting world of porcelain. After a while you will enter the original (closed) kiln in which porcelain was fired for many years. In this extraordinary scenery, you will learn the rest of the story about the production of porcelain, which decorates the tables of the wealthy around the world.

Then you will visit workshops where the steps of porcelain making are presented, casting, biscuit firing, glazing and painting… remember that in the museum you will not be a passive listener. You can touch, try and listen to (yes, porcelain, it makes unusual sounds) everything.

This is not the end of the attractions. The pride of Ćmielów is the original pink, and recently also emerald, porcelain. Although the entire recipe and production process of these beauties remains a secret, a visit to the museum will surely make you a fan of this “aristocracy among porcelains”.

You can take a part of this wonderful world with you - in the company shop you can buy unique figurines, cups or whole sets. And if you want to rest - drink delicious coffee (of course from a porcelain cup) in the "Lying cat" cafe.
