The remains of an epidemic cemetery from the 19th century are a testimony to old epidemics and infectious diseases, harvesting a lot as a result of the living conditions of the time and the lack of effective medical opportunities.
Those who died as a result of the epidemic were buried outside the towns, in separate cemeteries. The tombstones preserved here come from 1873 and 1894, from the time of two waves of the cholera epidemic. Previously, the cemetery covered a much larger area and was commonly known as "Księża Choina".
