The Świętokrzyska Philharmonic named after Oskar Kolberg in Kielce International Cultural Center is the only facility of this type in the Świętokrzyskie Region.
It organizes symphonic and chamber concerts, recitals and other forms presentation of musical works. It promotes Polish and foreign music, presents the work of classical and contemporary composers who have not been performed or performed very rarely, and is a patron of the amateur movement music and participates in the music education of children and youth through concerts and music programs taking place in schools. The history of philharmonics dates back to 1920. It was then that the symphony orchestra was founded. In 2009, a project was launched to build a new seat of the Świętokrzyska Philharmonic at Żeromskiego Street. The result is 515 seats in the audience, 300 seats on the stage for performers, 200 seats in a chamber hall, a rehearsal room - 150 seats and a conference room - 50 seats.
