European Fairy Tale Center of the Matołek the Billy Goat in Pacanów is a place created not only for the youngest, but also for adults who want to go back in time and return to their childhood.
On the premises of the facility resembling a sand cake, there is a library, a reading room, a bookstore, a "Szkatułka" cinema, "Small Theatre",workshop rooms, a souvenir shop, and a café. "Bajkowy Świat" (The Fairytale World) exhibition attracts the greatest attention. You can touch the exhibits here, open fairy-tale drawers. The guides dressed up as characters from fairy tales, lead children through magical and mysterious zones.
In the Magic Garden, you can encounter Thumbelina sleeping in a flower cup and the in Land of Soria Moria visitors can take part in a game aimed at defeating the evil Ice Queen. Every year the famous Children's Culture Festival takes place in Pacanów at the beginning of June.
