Fajna Ryba mountain (347 m above sea level)

, Góra Fajna Ryba
51°01'32"N 19°58'20"E (51.0256, 19.972417)

The mountain with this unusual name is the highest peak of the Przedborsko-Małogoskie range.

It is also the highest natural elevation of the Łódź Province - only an artificially created heap rises higher - Góra Kamieńsk near Bełchatów.

The history of the mountain itself is very interesting. Its origin has not been clearly explained. Local tradition says that it came from the surname of the former owner of the area - Wajnryba, who lived in Przedbórz. Although the hill itself is not impressive with its height, it can surprise you with a rather sharp approach from the east. During the walk, you will be accompanied mainly by forests with pine, beech, larch, fir and birch.
