Łączna railway station is actually located within the administrative borders of the village of Czerwona Górka. It was launched around 1898. The best period of its operation falls on the 1930s, when a thorough renovation and reconstruction of the Krakow-Warsaw route was carried out. It has two platforms and three platform edges. It is part of the railway line No. 8 Warszawa Zachodnia - Kraków Główny.
During World War II, the station was attacked by the Luftwaffe on September 3, 1939.
