Bliżyn railway station

The station was opened in 1885 as part of the Iwangorodsko-Dąbrowska railway. It has one platform and one platform edge. Until 2009, trains running on the route from Skarżysko-Kamienna to Opoczno and Tomaszów Mazowiecki stopped at the station. Before 2020, work began on modernizing the railway infrastructure, e.g. track replacement. From December 12, 2021, a section of railway line No. 25 was opened in the following directions: Łódź Kaliska, Tomaszów Mazowiecki, Koluszki, Skarżysko - Kamienna and Końskie. There are semaphores and light shields at the station. The turnouts are electrically controlled.
