Krasna is an approximately 30-kilometer left tributary of the Czarna River.
In the past, the waters of its lower course drove the water wheels of industrial plants of the Old Polish Industrial DistrictIn the surroundings of the Krasna River, you will recognize elements characteristic of both a rapid mountain stream and a river that flowsn lazily through meadows and swamps. The last element - the backwaters forming a vast, marshy valley - is the most characteristic landscape of Krasna and the reason why a part of the river valley is protected as part of the reserve called Górna Krasna.
