Wandering along the marked routes of this forest reserve, it is hard to believe that this place is so close to the city. In the area whose borders are marked by the Kielce bypass and the railway line, nature reigns supreme!
The name of the reserve comes from Sufraganiec, i.e. a river whose tributary (Sufragańczyk) flows through the reserve. River valleys are the subject of protection. The mixed forest is also valuable here, where you will meet pines, oaks, firs, beeches, maples, sycamores and hornbeams.
The wetland area creates good conditions for the life of several species of mosses. But above all, it is worth appreciating the suffraganiec as an ideal place to rest in the bosom of nature. You can rest here under a planted shelter. If you are interested in the nature of the reserve, take a walk along the path with educational boards.
