Monument to the Battle of Tychów (August 6, 1944)

The monument commemorates the battle of Tychów which took place on August 6, 1944.

Then there was a fight between German soldiers and partisans of the Peasants' Battalions. The victorious fight was fought by the partisans of Jan Sońta "Ośka" group under the command of Capt. Tadeusz Wojtyniak "Shepherds". The monument is located in the Strachowice Forest District, near the provincial road 744.
