Monument to the Battle of Piotrowy Pole (October 1-2, 1944). Piotrowe Pole is a place of raids of German troops on partisan units of the Home Army deployed in the forests of Iłża, which took place on October 1 and 2, 1944.

It was the largest battle of the Home Army in the region, known to "The Battle of Piotrowy Pole". Partisans under the command of 2nd Lt. "Włodek" encircled by German infantry armed with CKM rifles, armored cars, tanks, remote artillery took a daring fight with the overwhelming enemy forces. Third afternoon massive attack Germany broke the resistance of the partisans. The partisans were forced to retreat, suffering numerous losses. He was killed during the fight 59 partisans and about 40 were captured. In 2017, a monument commemorating those events was unveiled.
