The monument is located in the forest on the eastern shore of the Rejowski Lagoon, a few hundred meters from Rejowa.
Monument erected in 1963 on the 100th anniversary of the January Uprising. Built on the initiative of eng. Stanisław Sławiński.
The Skarżyska Works made casts of elements in the monument: - PKP steam locomotive shed (stood on a pedestal - stolen in 1992) - assembly - Stone Foundry (from the editorial office - supposed to be stolen after 1993) - transport of stone blocks - Power Company - foundation and assembly of the monument - O / PTTK at Z.M. MESKO.
Revolution tablets on the 130th anniversary of the January Uprising and the 40th anniversary of the PTTK branch at Z.M. MESKO in 1993. The monument itself commemorates 9 steelworkers from Rejów, participants of the patriotic uprising for independence, hanged in this place by the Russians in 1863.
