A small village, known from the 15th century as the property of the bishops of Kraków.

In the past it was called Syradlowice, then Sziradkowice. It is here, near the forester's lodge, that there is a stone commemorating the place of death of the gamekeeper Stanisław Krogulec, who was killed on February 26, 1943 for his underground activities.
