In the years 1944–1946 a wooden church on the school playground belonging to the State Forests was built by the inhabitants of the village without permission.
He consecrated it on August 26, 1948, who was the dean, Fr. Jan Węglicki. After signing the lease agreement for the square on which the church stood, Bishop Jan Kanty Lorek erected the parish on January 16, 1957. The first parish priest was Fr. Jan Stępień.
The church in Majdów was renovated in 1974 and rebuilt into a brick one in 1983–1996. The church was consecrated in 1987 by Bp. Edward Materski. It is a red brick temple.
