The baroque figure of St. Tekla is located on the square at the Market Square.
It was funded in 1765 by Maciej Gilba - the cook of Bishop Kajetan Sołtyk. Originally, it stood in front of the "Sołtyka" tenement house - in the 1830s it was moved to its present location (a horizontal plaque was placed on the renovated Market Square, informing about the previous location of the monument).
