If you want to relax in a historic building with an interesting history, staying in a luxury hotel with SPA, which is currently operating in the former hunting palace of the Wielopolski family, will be a good idea.

The seat of the Wielopolski family was in the village of Czajęcice (now it is one of the Ostrowiec estates, and the palace itself hosts exhibitions of the Historical and Archaeological Museum).

The hunting lodge in the settlement of Kuźnia was built by the owner of the Ostrowiec estate, Count Zygmunt Wielopolski. Here he located the administration of forests, and in the park surrounding the palace, hunting with the participation of guests of the powerful Wielopolski family ended.

Later, the palace was purchased by the forest inspector and plenipotentiary of the Wielopolski family, Józef Mikusiński. During World War II, the palace housed a club for German officers. Later, a hospital and a school operated here. The fire that hit this place in 2000 thwarted plans for the building to be taken over by the Ostrowiec Museum.

Currently, the palace is in private hands. There is a hotel here, the interiors of which reflect the spirit of the magnate history of this place. A novelty is a modern and well-organized saunarium, which will surely appeal to experts in sauna culture.
