The history of settlement in Włoszczowa goes back many centuries. We know that at the turn of the 14th and 15th centuries, a gord was built here - today's St. John.

In the 16th century, Włoszczowa passed into the hands of the Szafraniec family of the Starykoń coat of arms from Pieskowa Skała. Stanisław Szafraniec built a fortified manor in it - the representative seat was located in the area today called Podzamcze.

Currently, it is extremely difficult to find traces of the Szafraniec family here. From historical descriptions, it can be concluded that already at the end of the 19th century, the outline of the moat was still visible from the castle.

The Niemojewski Palace was built on the site of the Szafraniec manor house, but not much remains of this layout today - two outbuildings on both sides of Podzamcze Street. At this point, the road ends, and in the background you can see the trees of the former park complex.

Currently, the facility is in private hands and is not available for tourist purposes.
