The church in Włoszczowa was built in the 17th century as a result of the expansion of the chapel erected, according to tradition, in the place of miraculous revelations.
Both children and adults experienced visions. There were healings as well. After the parish priest of Małogoszcz and an official in the nearby collegiate church in Kurzelów recovered in this place, the archbishops of Gniezno agreed to build a chapel, which in later years was expanded into a Baroque temple. The characteristic tower of the church was added at the end of the 19th century.
In the main altar you will see a cult image of Mary with the baby, at whose feet Saint Joseph and Joachim are kneeling. This depiction reflects the scene described by the witnesses of the apparitions.
Also note the numerous memorial plaques and epitaphs. The one dedicated to the memory of Mikołaj Małachowski, the heir of Włoszczowa in the 18th century, looks particularly beautiful.
