The late Baroque temple was built in the 18th century, when the poor technical condition of the parish church in nearby Januszewice (and possibly the connections of the local heir) led to the transfer of the parish to Kluczewsko.
Originally, the church consisted of a nave and a narrower, straight-enclosed chancel, to which the sacristy adjoins. Thus, the temple presents a fairly typical layout for temples built in rural areas.
In the second half of the 19th century, the temples were significantly enlarged - the nave gained another span and a new entrance with a porch and choir.
Inside, pay attention to the commemorative plaques, in particular the epitaph of the founder of the church in Kluczewsko, the master of Szadków and the heir of the Kluczewsko estate - Ksawery Turski and his wife.
