The history of Nieznanowice dates back at least to the 14th century. The first mentions of this town come from that time. Over the next centuries, the village changed its owners, and finally, in the second half of the 19th century, it fell into the hands of the Poznański family.

Izrael Poznański, a wealthy industrialist from Łódź, contributed to the significant development of the village. The family also took care of a dignified seat - they settled in a palace reminiscent of classicist residences.

In 1910, the Poznański family sold the estate to the Karski family, who remained the owners of the palace until World War II.

Today, only ruins remain of the residence, from which you can read not only the outline of the building itself, but also the richness of the building's decorations.

The façade is distinguished by a risalit, i.e. the part of the building protruding forward. The front is also decorated with a tympanum with images of mythical creatures with laurel wreaths. A fragment of the impressive semi-circular colonnade has also been preserved.

The palace is surrounded by a park - today somewhat forgotten, once a showcase of its owners.

Private property, fenced area, building in very poor technical condition, in danger of collapse, no entry.
