The small town owes a significant part of its history and preserved monuments to the Dembiński family.
The temple in the Pińczów Mountains was created thanks to the efforts of Arnold Dembiński. According to sources, the church was built in the place where there was a Calvinist church in the 17th century. The temple
was significantly expanded in the 20th century.
The surviving elements of the former Baroque church include the nave and the part of the former presbytery, now incorporated into it, and the tower covered with a decorative roof.
Inside, pay attention to the painting depicting the scene of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, whose authorship is attributed to Franciszek Smuglewicz or Józef Peszka.
