When planning one of their next trips, tourists who are sensitive to the beauty of historic churches should consider a visit to the charming church in Lisów.
The historic temple stands on a small hill in the center of the village.
Little is known about the beginnings of the temple in Lisów. According to Jan Długosz, a parish existed here as early as 1326. The temple in Lisów was plagued by tragic events. We know that the brick church was
destroyed by fire in 1740. The effort to rebuild it was quickly undertaken, and in the 20th century it was additionally enlarged and renovated. Unfortunately, the temple was severely damaged during World War II.
When visiting the church, it is worth paying attention to the brick chapel of Saint Barbara from the 17th century, preserved despite adversity.
