A pond with an island with the ruins of a castle and romantic manor buildings in Maleszowa is a place that is gaining popularity among lovers looking for an original place for a photo session or a unique ceremony.
Today, fragments of the cellars and the wall have survived from the castle in Maleszowa. Due to its location on the island, it was called the "crane's nest".
If you believe the legends and stories, Aleksander Krasiński repulsed the Tatar attack from the "crane's nest" as early as in the 16th century. The Tatar khan, impressed by the heroism of his opponent, gave him a valuable clock as a gift.
In addition to the ruins of a mysterious castle, you will also find a manor house here. It was built of stone and brick on a long rectangular plan. The building is characterized by a two-bay arrangement of rooms.
The whole complex is complemented by the ruins of a stable with a coach house and the so-called storage shed. The manor house and the stable are connected by a livestock building, called "the chicken coop" by the local residents.
Today, the establishment is in private hands and is constantly expanding its offer.
