For centuries, man has been very eager to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the extremely fertile soil in this area. Among the fields and meadows, however, forest areas have been preserved, where nature still has more to say.
The area of the reserve is crossed by picturesque gorges. However, the subject of protection here is a forest typical of the loess subsoil. It consists of many species of deciduous trees, but it is dominated by small-leaved linden and pedunculate oak. You will also find hornbeams and walnut elms here.
