The church you will see today in Bidziny is the second temple in the history of this town. The first wooden church stood near the former cemetery - probably where you will find the figure of St. Barbara.

The present temple was founded in 1720 by Stanisław Aleksander Bidziński. The church was built in the late Baroque style, which was fashionable at that time. Despite the passage of time and several renovations, the building has retained its original character.

It is worth taking a moment to go inside and take a look at the rich decoration of the interior. It is possible that if you have had (or had) the opportunity to visit the Sandomierz cathedral, you will notice a certain similarity in the decor. The altars in the church in Bidzina are the work of people strongly inspired by the work of Maciej Polejowski - a sculptor from Lviv, who made altars in the cathedral in Sandomierz.

Images of the patron saints of the church - St. Peter and Paul - you will see in the main altar. The side is decorated with a statue of St. Barbara and the image of the Mother of God.

As in any temple with a rich history, here you will find numerous memorial plaques and epitaphs.
