Amelia's manor in Ruda Kościelna

Ruda Kościelna
50°56'38"N 21°33'01"E (50.943956, 21.550374)

This romantic name hides a historic manor house surrounded by an old park, which was probably built in the 18th century.

Currently, the hospitable walls of the manor serve primarily newlyweds who organize unforgettable weddings here. This place is also willingly chosen for other special events.

The heart of the complex is a carefully renovated manor house. It was rebuilt many times - in the 19th century, in the interwar period, and also after fires in the 1950s. Currently, guests are greeted by a characteristic porch modeled on a portico supported by 4 columns. Alcoves on the eastern and western sides adjoin the main body.

It is worth mentioning the excellent inhabitants of the manor - Franciszek Ksawery Korwin-Kochanowski lived there, and thus the tenant of the village himself in the eighteenth century. During World War II, the building hosted a real princess - Maria Teresa Drucka-Lubecka.
