The plane has been on display in the square at the intersection of Langiewicza and Żeromskiego streets since 2018.

At the WSK-1 plant in Mielec, under the license of the Soviet Soviet MiG-15 aircraft, production of a fighter aircraft with the designation Lim-1 began. The development of the plant contributed to the creation of new flying units, including SBLim-1 and SBLim-2 training and combat aircraft. The planes served until May 18, 1993, when the Experimental Squadron in Modlin made the last flight. Then, after withdrawing from the army, the planes were sold to the United States, Australia, England, often for tourism purposes - they took to the sky again.

The training and combat fighter came here straight from the Museum of the Armed Forces in Dęblin.
