On the slopes of the hills in modest soldiers' graves almost 35 soldiers of the Home Army were fighting under the command of among others: Jan Piwnik "Ponury", Antoni Heda "Szary" and Waldemar Szwiec "Robot". The beginnings of the cemetery are related to the tragic events of 1943, when 5 partisans from the "Robota" group were killed in a skirmish near the Mościska gamekeeper's lodge. The bodies of the fallen were buried near Skarżysko and Pogorzały. The cemetery was established in August 1943 and consecrated the following year in May. To get there, turn into Turystyczna Street in Skarżysko-Książęcem, then take the road through the forest.
