The reserve is located in the Sieradowice Range in the south. the edge of the vast complex of Siekierzyńskie Forests.
A fragment of the northern slope of the domed hill of Góra Sieradowska (382 m above sea level), covered with a multi-species mixed forest, is under protection here. The stand is dominated by fir and beech.
The area of the reserve is intersected by deep valleys of the Świślina stream and its tributaries, as well as deep erosion gorges - the height differences here reach several dozen meters.
A number of protected and rare plant species grow in the reserve, e.g. wolf laurel, European globeflower, large-flowered anemone, broad-leaved helleborine, spiny fern, rock and green foot rot, clubmoss.
