The chapel is located on the outskirts of Saint Catherine, on the busy road leading to Bodzentyn. Its patron is Saint Anthony, the creator of anachoreticism - a form of religiosity based on life in isolation. This is why this modest building is also called the "chapel of anachoreta".
The original, probably seventeenth-century chapel was on the other side of the road. Currently, you will only see a replica of the original structure - a wooden, octagonal chapel with a shingled roof.
