The Botanical Garden is located on the SE slope of Karczówka Hill (341 m above sea level), where you can enjoy a wonderful panorama of Kielce and Świętokrzyskie Mountains.

It covers about 13 ha. It was created, inter alia, in order to present and preserve the regional and local flora, which is distinguished by its great richness compared to the whole country. It is the only European garden where there is a geological exposure of Devonian rocks from 360 million years ago, including the cave entrances! To facilitate sightseeing, the garden is divided into thematic sections, and these – into collections.

The most interesting are the collection of roses (rosary), the collection of rhododendrons and azaleas, the moorland, the section of water and marsh flora and the rock garden with a waterfall. Noteworthy is also protected in situ, that is in the place of occurrence, xerothermic grassland with a number of rare plant species. In the Garden you can also relax in the picnic formula, using the available places and numerous free-standing deck chairs. The Garden as well as the entire Geonatura Kielce, can be visited using a mobile application available on Google Play.
