First World War Cemetery in Busko-Zdrój

ul. Bolesława Prusa 16, 28-100 Busko-Zdrój, Busko Zdrój

A quiet residential area is located in the north of the city, away from the main roads of the Busko health resort.

It does not reveal that among the single-family houses there is a valuable memento from the turbulent times of the First World War. The history of the Busko - Zdrój cemetery dates back to the war times, when in 1917 the remains of soldiers buried in the nearby necropolises were transferred here. In the modest but meaningful cemetery, 167 Russian and 37 Austro-Hungarian soldiers are buried, mainly those who died in the fighting at the end of 1914.
